Also for our newcomers from #reddit.
Every week we have a #Zapathon on Thursday and Friday at 5pm EST/ 11pm CET and it lasts for 30 minutes. The backstory is that in the early days of #nostr we used Zapathons to stress test the LN wallets and we pretty much killed them a few times. However, the providers scaled up their servers so perhaps tomorrow, with the help of all the new users joining today, we have a chance to drop them dead in the water again 🤣

All you have to do is be here for the Zapathon and post some original memes and zap as many notes as you can within 30 minutes. It's also a cool way to discover accounts so don't miss it. Pro tip: Most apps support fast zapping, you set an amount in your client, set a limit and just zap away until your limit is used up.

There is also a Zapathon on the weekend for the eurozone but can't remember the time right now. Anyway, if you're new to nostr you'll love this! I promise!
